More than a marketplace
Marketplace, requests, schedule, learning management system… What the hack must teaching be so difficult?! It must not. Let’s eliminate all these terms and speak like human. One thing is clear: Generally, you are a service provider who provides (purchases) courses to their customers (students) on course.de. In order to sell more courses you should follow the basic rules:
- WHO. Know who your students are (customers).
- WHY. Understand what they want to learn and why.
- HOW. Find out ways to provide better courses.
The answer to all these questions is in the DATA, i.e., on your course.de profile. Having control over data you’ll know how to process it in order to get these data play for you.
Who wants to attend your course?
The goal of knowing your students is to have them in mind for hunting for future potential students. For this, you don’t need to be a data scientist. Go to My School and click on Students. Easy as pie. You’ll be redirected to your student list. Here you can filter and search students by their demographics (name, age, gender), workplace. By putting labels on students you’ll be able to segmentize and personalise them.
Which courses are popular?
Finding out which courses are most demanded will help you refine the most popular ones and understand what is wrong with those which are not that well booked. Is it the teacher? Is it the course content? Is it the price? On Dashboard you’ll see all groups and the number of students involved there. These numbers will give you an overview about how popular your course offerings are.
